A Christian Resource For People to Consider

Hello everyone,

First, I want to let you know that I am alive and that I have not fallen into a bottomless pit. I also want to let you know that I have not lost my desire to finish the series of research articles that I’ve been working on for more than a year. The desire to finish that series is strong as ever… My desire to write articles relating to Bible prophecy has not waned either. I intend to share more of my research findings in the future when I am able to.

Today I would like to alert people about a Christian resource that is available on the Internet which I use.

  • Before I mention this Christian resource, I want to make it clear that I am not paid for mentioning this resource and that I have not had any contact with the provider of this resource. In other words, this is not a commercial or an advertisement. I use this resource myself and I think it’s worth spreading the word about this resource because I think some people can benefit from it.

One of my favorite resources is SermonAudio.com For those who are unfamiliar with SermonAudio, it is basically a website where people can access and listen to 500,000+ free sermons on a variety of topics given at churches around the world in a variety languages. For instance, let’s say you would like to hear some encouraging words. You can type the term “encourage” in the search box and find 500 sermons relating to the topic of encouragement.

I obviously have not listened to every sermon on the website given that there are over 500,000 of them available. However, after listening to several sermons on SermonAudio recently, I am heartened that there are still some good preachers out there in the world even though we live in an era where false teachings are rapidly on the rise. I’ve listened to some preachers who are not afraid to say truthful things which may be difficult for many in their respective congregations to hear. I’ve also listened some dynamic preachers who seem well-grounded in the Bible and have a lot of passion for what they do.

  • Note: I have not listened to any Bible prophecy-related sermons from SermonAudio in a long time so I cannot speak on the quality of the Bible prophecy-related sermons currently on SermonAudio. As for non-prophecy related sermons, I think there are some quality ones on SermonAudio. I’ve learned quite a bit after listening to several sermons found on SermonAudio.

I think SermonAudio can be a useful resource for people. Once again, you can access the website at the following link. SermonAudio also has well-designed apps available in case you have a mobile device or a tablet. I hope people who decide to try the website will like what they see and hear.

As for me, I hope I can make some progress on the studies I’ve been working on in the coming days...

When the antichrist does come he will he hailed by the jewish people as their long awaited messiah . He will therefore have to meet certain criteria such as be a decendant of Kind David as was Jesus Christ through Saint Joseph .  This does mean that he may  have some jewish blood in him . The messages of La Salette, France give more details on his origins

I think it's more likely that Antichrist will not be Jewish. Regardless of what his ethnicity is, he ultimately will not be a friend of Christians, Jews, or anyone else who refuses to worship him.

Some Scriptures seem to indicate that antichrist will be from the tribe of Dan.  However, since nobody knows who the tribe of Dan is anymore, it wouldn't be readily apparent that he had Hebrew blood in him, so he could come from anywhere (including a Muslim country) and still have Hebrew blood. It would also preclude him being Jewish, as Jews are only from the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, or Levi and are a known people.

The main tenet of whom the Messiah would be according to Jewish beliefs (from what I have read) is that he would restore the temple.  I think genealogy will be a moot point for Jews, as all the ancient records of genealogy were burned when the temple was destroyed.  They will take his restoring the temple as a sign that he is the Messiah, and therefore will take for granted that he has the necessary bloodline, since he fulfills the prophecy, and nobody (except Jesus) can prove a genealogy back to King David anymore.

Of course there are the Holy Bloodline/Holy Grail proponents who say that Jesus had children with Mary Magdalene and can put forth an antichrist who can "claim" a lineage back to King David through Jesus.  So you have several options going on here.

I think I might write an article about identifying characteristics of the Antichrist sometime soon.

Thank you for posting the link. It is a very good representation of exactly what Christ warned us would happen in the end times in the Olivet Discourse and the book of Revelation.

How are you doing these days, Wayne? I hope things are getting better. We miss you.

I hope to be able to return to regular studying and posting regularly soon, but I can't predict anything concerning myself as it's up to what God allows in my life (James 4:13 onward). Prayers are always welcome.

If I can find some time this week, I may post an article letting people know about your very interesting article on Daniel's 2300 days if that is okay with you.

That would be fine. Please use any information of mine freely that you desire. I am not possessive of it. I didn't know you'd been to visit. Glad you stopped by. If there is anything specific (without revealing more than you want to) that we can pray for, don't hesitate to ask. Prayer is always more effective if it can be more specific than very generalized. I must admit to being deeply concerned. You are probably just a year or two older than my boys, so I feel very motherly toward you.

Last week I found a little bit of time to get re-acclimated with Bible
prophecy. I visited your End Times
Studies blog during that time to take a look at what you’ve written concerning
Gog when I encountered your Daniel 2300 Days article.

Pray that I continue to develop fear of the Lord, that I exercise
patience, and that I gain wisdom.

I think we could all use the prayer that we fear the Lord more, we don't fear Him enough. I know I need more of that myself. And we all need more wisdom. Praying for patience is a two-edged sword. It means that He gives you trials so that you develop patience. From the sounds of it, you might already have the trials you need to develop it. I'll be praying for you.

Donald Trump is supposed to be making some big announcement about Obama today, from what I hear. Can't imagine what he has to offer that people haven't already dragged out of the closet.

I think I'm currently in the process of developing the patience so I'll need to continue developing it.

I don't think the "big announcement" will have any impact.

Wayne,

Are you aware of any recent dealings we have had with Israel that would have any bearing on the present "storm of the century" that we are presently experiencing here in the east. Some of the forecasters are saying that some of the predictions for various areas are unprecedented in history. I know that we often experience these things in consequence of something we did concerning Israel, (such as Katrina) so was just wondering if I missed something.

My son is literally sitting a few miles from the coast in MD, so needless to say I am a little concerned for his safety. We are much more inland and further north and live in the country, so we are more capable of getting through this unscathed.

The only thing I can think of would be Obama not meeting with Netanyahu face to face back in September when all the world leaders were in New York for the U.N.. I remember there was a lot of criticism for Obama to not meet with Netanyahu. However, Obama reportedly did call Netanyahu.

I really follow tropical weather closely. Sandy is much stronger than the "Perfect Storm" over 20 years ago.

My gut feeling is that this storm could impact the outcome of the election.

Connie said...

Depending on whether or not there is power outages that last a long time, (into election day) we may or may not be able to vote. I have no idea how they would handle that. I am a poll worker, and we have contingency plans for if the place we are holding the elections is left without power, but generally it is assumed that we will be moving to a place with power. If the power is out all over, I don't know how we could hold it, for even though people use paper ballots and we could collect them without needing the machine, the poling place could be freezing cold, and we have to be there from 5 in the morning until 10 at night. No way we could deal with that. Obama would be thrilled.

The Northeastern part of the U.S. tends to vote Democrat so I don't think a decline in turnout would make that much of a difference. Where I think a difference could be made is how Obama handles the situation. If he does a good job handling this I think he will leave a positive impression on undecided voters. Romney has a slight lead over Obama in the polls, but I think he will lose his momentum because this is not a time for politics.
